For persons pending trial for a DWI charge, a Pre-Trial Assessment might be recommended by your attorney

An Assessment is required to petition for Limited Driving Privileges



  • NO previous DWI offense conviction (LIFETIME)
  • DID comply & submit to a chemical test
  • BAC was 0.14% or less at the time of your arrest
  • Assessment does not identify a substance use disorder
  • Meets the admission criteria for Level 0.5 (Early Intervention) of ASAM PPC-2
  • Current COST: $160.00 (subject to change per State mandates/regulations, ONLY)

  • We are PROUD to be an authorized ADETS / PRIme For Life provider (ENGLISH & SPANISH)
  • All tracks must be attended to successfully complete the course per state mandates. 
  • Participants receive a workbook and certificate of completion.
  • There is a minimum of 5 particpants & a maximum of 20 participants per class.
  • Class schedule is subject to modification based on majority of student needs & instructor availability.
  • When the minimum of participants are not obtained the track will be re-scheduled or referred.

  • Assessment suggests a substance use disorder or risk
  • Clinical impression provides reason to conclude that this setting would be more appropriate than ADETS
  • Blood Alcohol Concentration .15 or higher
  • or REFUSED chemical test at time of arrest
  • Other problems seem to be a contributing factor
  • and/or the client meets the criteria for Level I of the ASAM Placement Criteria
  • The client is mandated to have services scheduled weekly

Treatment Considerations:

  • You have a right to professional and ethical services based upon your level / need.
  • A treatment contract is required
  • You and the service provider are expected to honor this contract.
  • You must have a State Certified Counselor available to you.
  • Treatment groups are conducted by trained therapists



  • If you live in another state & were convicted of a DWI in North Carolina:
  • You MUST CLEAR THE BLOCK OFF your license  or CUSTOMER # (if you did not have a NC DL#)
  • You must complete a substance abuse assessment with a DWI Provider in your area
  • Send us proof that the recommended substance abuse education or treatment level was completed
  • Note: We offer competitve pricing.
  • Upon satisfaction of the required state mandates we will finalize our review and submit the e-508


If you completed a program while in the military or while incarcerated, the program/services might qualify to be used to meet the mandated requirements!

  • It depends on the content of the program/services
  • Contact us today to conduct a review of the program/services that you completed
  • If the content of the program/services are deemed appropriate, we will gladly generate the Certificate of Completion (508-R Form) required by DMV to lift the “block” off of your license
